Hemp & Vanilla Breakfast Smoothie

Recently, hemp was approved for consumption in Australia and New Zealand . As the Food Matters HQ is based in Australia, we were very excited about this news! Why? Because hemp seeds contain vitamins, minerals, and polyunsaturated fatty acids and offer a great source of protein and vegetarian source of Omega 3. This is something we love, and ever since the approval, we’ve been adding it to everything - like our Hemp & Vanilla Breakfast Smoothie below!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 - 1.2 cup frozen cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or cream
  • 1 cup filtered cold water
  • 2 tbsp hemp protein
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender or NutriBullet and blend until smooth and creamy.
